| Freedom is Not Free! We enjoy our freedom only because Veterans have put themselves in harms way and hundreds of thousands have paid the ultimate price. Veterans have taken our place on the battle field to stand bravely between danger and our families. We owe them more than gratitude, more than remembrance and more than respect. We need to honor them by not squandering the nation they fought and died for. We need to do our part at home and protect the CONSTITUTION and LIBERTY so they will have a Free America to come home to and raise their families! Please Honor our Veterans everyday, not just on Memorial Day. God Bless America! |
On April 23rd 2010, as a way of giving back and thanking our brave soldiers,Captain
Wolf Music Productions provided one lucky soldier (whose name was selected
randomly) an opportunity to go to Bermuda with a spouse or companion for a four
day mini vacation. The trip, paid for by private donations by members of The Captain
Wolf Band as well as other community members, was booked through Sensational
Travel of Salem and sponsored by The Kowloon Restaurant in Saugus. Below are the
pictures of the awarding of the prize at Lynn's City Hall. After the drawing, the group
was invited to The Kowloon by owner Andy Wong for lunch.
The event was such a success that we have decided to award another trip to another
soldier on July 31st during a Northshore Navigators game at Fraser Field in Lynn. We
will be having a chowderfest contest with 10 local restaurants participating. The
tickets will be $10.00 (which includes the game ticket and the right to taste all the
chowder participants entry) each and all proceeds will be to fund the next trip
giveaway. Please show your support and come out and enjoy the game and help us let
our troops know that we care and are very appreciative of their service and for all that
they do.

| And The Winners Are: Sgt. Bradbury of Lynn won the Bermuda vacation. The names of the eligible soldiers were gathered by Sgt. Geoff Allen (National Guard recruiter at the Lynn Armory) with much help and appreciation to Lt. Col. Steve Fernandes and Major David Henke. Jeniris Gonzalez of the Captain Wolf Band drew Sgt. Bradbury's name. 1st Runner Up was drawn by Mayor Judy Kennedy. 2nd Runner Up was drawn by Heather Rose of the Captain Wolf Band.
